VISOR will focus on the development, integration and delivery of a complete pipeline for the purpose of 3D geometric and colour information extraction, of an arbitrary small physical object (dimension range: 20cm to 100cm) from a set of input 2D images or a time-constrained video sequence. An application will transmit a set of images or video of a physical object to the cloud service during a teleconference session and a 3D model ready to be visualised and shared will be returned.
We're really excited to announce that VISOR will be attending Stereopsia this December 9-11 as part of the
CORTEX2
European programme! Stop by our stand on the event floor to say hi and find out all about the future of 3D reconstruction & AR rendering for XR teleconferencing, education and online shopping.

We are thrilled to share that Phasmatic has received positive feedback on the progress made in Sprint #1 of the DEVELOPMENT phase for our funded project, VISOR. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve successfully advanced to INTEGRATION Sprint #2. A big thank you to the entire team for your hard work and dedication.
The VISOR project was officially launched during an online kickoff meeting on 5 July 2024. The consortium came together to review all of the work to be carried out during the 9 months of the project duration and initiated the first steps to a successful start.

Excited of being among the winning projects of CORTEX² (Open Call 1 co-development) tackling real challenges in XR teleconference platforms. Our project 'VISOR' will develop a novel real object virtualization service that will provide fast and accurate 3D digital twin creation of physical assets. Efficient 3D reconstruction is a key operation that will transform the content generation process, greatly benefiting the industry (movie, games and eCommerce).
